Beginner Syllabus

 

Below are the classes for our beginner syllabus, we follow a rotating 12 week beginners course so even if you jump in in the middle you will get back round through all the classes and techniques.

 

Week 1 - Guard Bottom Basics

In week one we start with going through the basic escapes from side control, this will be your warm up as well as movement drills.

Warm up:

  • Shrimping movement drill

  • Side control escape to guard

  • Side control escape to Knees

Techniques:

  • Arm lock from guard

  • Triangle

  • Omoplata

  • Scissor sweep

 

Week 2 -
