I have created a lot of work for myself, so I couldn’t get into a meaty book this week. I have a soft spot for Jocko he also happens to train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with Dean Lister.
I may not agree with everything he says, you can’t take away his discipline and mental toughness, he has shown in his career in the Navy Seals, his training regime where he gets up at 5 am (basically going against what I wrote here)
This book is great! It’s written in large print so it’s easy on my eyes. It is punctuated with the forceful voice of its author and when you read it you can’t help but feel pumped to get on it and improve yourself and stop complaining.
In this current climate when motivation is a factor and focus can fluctuate, this book is straight to the point. There is no hack only discipline.
If like me you are trying to push through and get things going, then this book is the perfect complement.
